Before you apply...

Has your ED performed a self-assessment by walking through the requirements for COPPER recognition?

Has your ED decided which level of recognition to apply for and addressed any major gaps to achieve recognition at that level?

Still have gaps? Not to worry! We still encourage you to apply. COPPER has the resources and experts to help you succeed!

If you answered yes to both questions above, then it's time to submit an application and checklist for COPPER recognition!

Note: The online application will ask for the level of recognition you're applying for, basic demographic information about your ED, and a letter of commitment that includes signatures from the ED Medical Director, ED Nursing Director (if applicable), and a Hospital Administrator. After submitting the online application, you will be asked to also complete and submit an online checklist. After you've submitted the application and checklist, you will be contacted to schedule a consultative visit.
